Epson Stylus SX405 all-in-one overview

Epson’s new additional to its mid range all-in-one machines is the Stylus SX405. Like Epson all-in-ones of the past it looks the part and promises to deliver quality prints scans and photo copies with value for money. The Stylus SX405 uses a quad ink cartridges system which delivers 5760 x 1440 dpi maximum print resolution and borderless A4 printing. The stand-alone photo copying function offers convenient copies in black or colour at the touch of a button. The Stylus SX405 also has a built in card reader and PicBridge slot which means you can print photos direct from a camera or memory card. Previewing of the pictures before you print them is done via the built in LCD screen and the picture can be edited to your liking. Epson ink for the SX405 comes in the form of four DURABrite ultra ink cartridges which offer pin sharp prints combined with value for money. The best value however can be found with compatible Epson SX405 inks, these can be up to 75% cheaper and offer almost as good print results.
